There are many clinics and private doctors throughout the state that provide confidential services to teens for little or no cost. It’s important to keep in mind that seeking any type of medical care under your parents’ insurance policy may result in their finding out why you went to the doctor. This is not a problem if it’s okay with you that your parents know about it.

To find a local clinic or doctor that serves teens confidentially for services such as counseling, education, birth control, pregnancy testing, cancer screening and screening for sexually transmitted diseases, call:

    FamilyPACT at 1-800-942-1054
Through the state FamilyPACT program, private physicians and clinics provide women and men with caring, confidential reproductive health services at no cost to those who qualify. These services are provided to youth based on their personal income (not their parents’ income), so most youth do qualify for free services.

    Planned Parenthood at 1-800-230-PLAN
Planned Parenthood affiliated health centers nationwide provide high quality, affordable, reproductive health care and sexual health information to women, men, and teens in a confidential setting. Planned Parenthood welcomes everyone – regardless of race, age, sexuality, disability, or income.
